In some of the quizzes, you may encounter questions whose grammatical structures have not been introduced. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t do well occasionally in these quizzes. They put emphasis on reading comprehension and may exceed the syntactic rules to which you have been formally introduced. They are designed to find out your attention to nuances and subtleties, and accustom you to being aware of their existence. The scores are negligible (each counting as 1% of your course grade) and not worth losing sleep over. These are exercises you need to do to get yourself ready for HSK test.
